2024 School of Education Commencement Ceremony

Celebrating the class of 2024.

For Guests:

TIME:

• 8:30 AM Chumash Auditorium doors open - Seating is first-come, first-serve
• 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Commencement Ceremony

TICKETS:

• All graduates are limited to 5 guest tickets.
• All remaining tickets will be available to claim via survey after the first round of ticket claiming ends on May 5th. Participating graduates do not need a ticket.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

• If anyone in your party requires special accommodations at the ceremony please inform the School of Education by email (soe@calpoly.edu) or by calling 805-756-2126 no later than Wednesday, June 5th.

LOCATION & PARKING:

• The Chumash Auditorium is located within the McPhee University Union, Building 65, on the 2nd floor.
• To reach the Chumash Auditorium from South County, take Highway 101 to the Grand Avenue exit in San Luis Obispo and then follow the signs to Cal Poly and the Center. If you are coming from North County, take Highway 101 to the Monterey Street exit and then take a quick right and turn left onto Loomis Street and then take a right onto Grand Avenue. If you are coming from Morro Bay, Cambria, etc., we suggest that you enter campus from the Highland Drive entrance.

• Parking for all events scheduled at the Chumash Auditorium is free for all patrons. Event parking in the main structure (130 - Grand Ave Parking Structure) will be available on a first-come basis.

For Graduates:

TIME:

• 8:00 AM Graduates meet at the Chumash Auditorium to prepare to line up in Room 220
• 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Commencement Ceremony

WHAT TO WEAR:

• Master's degree graduates wear light blue regalia (cap, gown & hood - visit the Cal Poly University Store for orders)
• Credential graduates wear professional attire (no caps & gowns)
